Repowering London is setting up a Working Group to tackle one of the biggest hurdles in community energy — finance. It’s aim is to research a new fundraising model that can provide five million pounds in capital to accelerate the growth of community energy initiatives.
We are looking for volunteers to be a part of it. There are two main ways to get involved.
Researcher: 2- 4 hours a week.
You will be exploring and documenting funding opportunities, drafting a report and recommendations on the funding model, and engaging the sounding board members.
If you are eager to contribute and able to fulfill the time commitment we want you. Energy experience is a plus.
Sounding board member: Once a month (approx.)
You will be asked to review the work done by the researchers, discuss next steps and make potential introductions to financiers, policy makers or other relevant decision makers.
We are looking for mid to late career individuals working in energy, finance or policy.
