We’re recruiting a Community Lead in Southwark!

This is an exciting opportunity for a Southwark resident who cares about tackling climate change locally and leading their borough towards a more inclusive and sustainable future.

 

As a Community Lead in the Southwark, your main objective will be to build capacity and enthusiasm for an inclusive community energy movement in Southwark. You will do this through a mixture of relationship building, engagement, and training activities. You will be employed by Repowering London and will work together with our Communities Project Manager for South London.

 

We are looking for a Southwark resident with a strong network in the local communities, and an interest in community organising.

 

Position details

  • Salary: £28,300 p/a pro rata: £11,320 per year for two days a week.
  • Contract: Part-time (2 days a week) 8-month contract. Probation period of 3 months.
  • Work location: Working in-person in Southwark, from home, and with the option to work at Repowering London’s office in Brixton.
